The youth and Luther Rice love to have fun! We are in grades 6th-12th. We meet on Sunday mornings for Sunday School at 9:45 and discuss certain issues, refer to the Bible, and then discuss how to apply what it says to our own lives. On alternating Tuesday evenings we meet from 6:00-8:00 for lots of games, activities, movie watching and discussing, bible study and food! We laugh as much as we learn! We have so much fun growing in our relationships with one another and God!

Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray. Proverbs 22:6

A lot of smiles, a lot of laughter, and a lot of learning! Our children learn about the Bible by making crafts, playing games, singing songs, listening to stories and having fun. We have Sunday School at 9:45 Sunday mornings and then leave halfway through the 11:00 service to have Children's Church. We look forward to this summer's kid-friendly NEIGHBORHOOD CARNIVAL. We celebrate Christmas by throwing a birthday party for Jesus! We would love to meet you and have you join in on all the fun!

We're trying a new, exciting thing this summer: A CARNIVAL FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD! Totally kid friendly and fun, it will include face-painting, popcorn and cotton candy, water games, and much, much more! It's all taking place at Luther Rice Memorial Baptist Church, in and around our playground area, on July 5-7, and July 11-14. Join us!

Youth Group

Charles Tolbert returns for his FOURTH summer as our Summer Intern. Charles is a recent graduate of William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, and he is about to leave for Nashville to pursue a vocation in music. He will be bringing his usual high level of enthusiasm and energy.
